Well,

The cantina is made too talk about all thing that's not a subject of another forum.
Like a pub, the cantina is a room to meet people , learn about them or hold a conversation about anything.

but i think just take a look at the calendar or place some event on it is a good way to be active on the guild. isn't it ?
Or you can also place an order on the market place to try to find a artisant in the guild that could make you the stuff you need if Bazaar or vendor don't have the stuff. isn't it ?
